I was wondering what prompted Kathy on getting her girls into movies. She was poor and had a rough life. Usually people who lived in that condition have enough problems just making it.
I applaud Kathy on the way she didn't let it keep her down. But it would be interesting to know the history behind how her girls really got started.

To hear the fact that my mom was poor and had a rough life if funny. We weren't poor. We weren't rich but we led a comfortable life. We got started in the movies because i like to dance and my teacher got me involved in some shows and it was fun. We lived in a trailer park for a while in Anaheim and had the best times of our lives ther. I woulnd't trade it for anything.

Yeah, and photos of you guys in nice clothes, and your possessions and stuff don't suggest you guys were poor.I guess with the stereotype of people who live in trailor-parks being poor, people thought you guys were poor, plus you know how rumors are. So,how are you now,I mean, are you making good money now? What do you do for a living,if you don't mind me asking,Tammy? Just curious, thanks!

I didn't mean to say that Tammy and Heather was so poor that they wore torn jeans and went to school bare foot. The thing is that if you didn't make 30-40 grand a year back then you lived below the poverty range. It's known that the O'Rouke had lived in some of the poorest section of California.
As for living in the trailer park, I too am living in one myself, and their are good people that live in them. I just find it refreshing that someone like Kathleen, Tammy, and Heather can smashed the concept of "Trailer Trash" to pieces.

I know,I'm just saying, according to pictures and stuff I've seen of Heather's bedroom, and stuff, they didn't look all that dirt poor, that's all
