Ok, I had a dream a few nights ago that might have something to do with Tammy's presence here on the board now, plus common knowledge about Heather...

In the dream, I was at a big family dinner. But it wasn't my family. It was Heather's, and there were quite a lot of people there, although I cannot begin to tell you who they represented. Of course Kathleen and Tammy were there, and people from the pictures on Tammy's site, and even though I've never seen them, I'm pretty sure her daughters were accounted for, because there were kids running around, and I consciously knew Tammy had kids. At first, it appeared to be Thanksgiving, but as the night (?) wore on, it became December, because before we ate, instead of grace, we all went around the table saying something about Heather. When it was my turn, I mentioned that when my nana died, my mom's cousin made sure to leave a seat in her van empty for Nana. So we pulled out a chair and set a place for Heather. Then it was suddenly January, and my birthday. Same family. On the cake, there were 54 candles; 27 for me, and 27 for Heather. I made a joke about her leaving me to do all the blowing, and right after I said that and blew out my half, her half mysteriously went out. I stopped, confused - then I woke up.

Oh, I wish you could edit these posts after posting! I just want to add that there were some parts of the dream that were crystal clear, like the known relatives, and some were a little fuzzy and, truth be told, are getting fuzzier as time passes. I don't know whose house we were in, just that there was a huge table, which in reality wouldn't have held so many people. Also the rest of the background relatives were just vague representations of people that could have been anyone. And I have no idea why or how I got to be there, but everyone seemed to accept that I was part of their gathering. The memories that are strongest are of me wanting a place for Heather and the cake. Since my dreams have a habit of not doing what I want them to, I don't know if I'll have the dream again, but if I do, I'll try to record it as soon as I wake up.

Sorry for the 2 huge posts.

Hi Dawn, the registered version of the Discus software does allow for editing of posts, BUT, it's also $150.00 that I just don't have to spend on it right now. I'm banking money away for something else... Even if you were able to edit your post though, it wouldnt matter much because the email notifications would have already gone out. Sorry! We'll have the registered version soon enough. Currently working on several ideas for the site and board.

Ugh. Never mind that, then.
Strangely enough, this dream has somehow opened up a floodgate to lots of other not-so-good images. I've just had an unsettling dream which has little to do with this board, but it's going to eat at me until I find out whether it's wrong or not.

Well, it's really off-topic, but it was about an accident that it turns out didn't really happen. I was hoping for the Heather dream again, and got that one instead.
